What we collect,
and what we never will.

We check AI tools for a living, so our own policy is held to the same standard. Short, specific, and readable in three minutes.

WHAT WE COLLECT

Four things.

→Your email: it signs you in (magic link) and receives receipts and change alerts.

→The tools you scan and watch, so your dashboard works and we know what to re-check.

→Your plan status: active or not, scans left. Your card and billing address go straight to Stripe and never reach our servers.

→Server logs (IP, timestamps, errors), kept briefly to keep the service running and abuse out.

That is the whole list. No tracking pixels, no advertising identifiers, no data brokers. One cookie, and all it does is keep you signed in. Legally: the first three are needed to run the service, the logs are our legitimate interest in keeping it secure.

WHAT WE NEVER DO

Four promises.

CANNOT BE AMENDED

These do not change.

1.We never sell your data. To anyone, at any price.

2.We never run ads or share your data with advertisers.

3.We never train AI on your data. The scanner reads the tools’ public documents, not anything of yours.

4.We never take money from the AI tools we scan. Our only revenue is from the people we protect.

If safeuse is ever sold, any buyer inherits them.

Each works only on our instructions, under a data-processing agreement, some of them in the United States under the safeguards UK law requires. Nobody else sees your data unless the law compels us, and then only what is compelled.

EMAILS WE SEND

Three kinds. No marketing.

Magic links when you sign in, change alerts for tools you watch, and receipts. Alerts switch off in Settings. Receipts don’t, because a charge you don’t know about is exactly what we scan for.

DELETING

Settings, no forms, 24 hours.

Delete your account in Settings or email hello@safeuse.app. Everything leaves our live systems within 24 hours, encrypted backups expire within 7 days, and Stripe keeps payment records as long as tax law requires. Export a copy from Settings first.

YOUR RIGHTS

See it, copy it, correct it, delete it.

Wherever you live, that is the baseline. Email us and it happens: no forms, no 30-day runaround. In the UK you can also complain to the ICO. If a breach ever touches your data, you hear it from us without delay, the regulator within 72 hours, as the law requires.

CHANGES

Material changes, emailed first.

The mechanics may evolve: a new processor, a clearer sentence. Anything material, you hear by email before it takes effect. Silent edits are exactly what we scan for. Section 02 sits outside this clause.
